Join DEEP Master Wildlife Conservationist Ginny Apple for an insightful talk on beavers as a keystone species. Discover their fascinating biology, behavior, and history, as well as the vital role these “nature’s engineers” play in shaping North American landscapes. Ginny will also explain how beaver ponds and wetlands help address pressing environmental issues, from water pollution to erosion and climate change.
