Purpose of Meeting
Senior Deputy Senate Republican Leader Paul Cicarella, Co-Chair of the Connecticut Future Caucus, is partnering with Braver Angels, the nation’s largest cross-partisan, volunteer-led movement, to host a community forum entitled "Bridging the Divide: Finding Common Ground in the State House and Your House". The forum will be focused on bridging the political divide in today's political climate and finding common-ground solutions for Connecticut citizens.
A nonpartisan community forum offering tools to foster civil dialogue and constructive engagement across political lines. At this event, we will:
• Share practical tools to make it easier to navigate difficult conversations about politics.
• Introduce skills for listening and connecting across differences.
• Highlight bipartisan efforts in Connecticut’s State House, which demonstrate that greater cooperation in government is possible.
