How to change our relationship with nature in the face of Climate Crisis by learning from the Indigenous Cultures. The relationship Indigenous people have always had with nature and the environment is based upon their deep sense of interconnection with all life on the planet and the "Living Earth" itself. By returning to that perception and consciousness we can alter our own relationship and help create a world of sustainability, balance, and harmony.
We are happy to welcome back Jim Powers a retired teacher, historian, archaeologist, researcher, public speaker, and author. As a member of the board of directors at the Dudley Farm Museum in North Guilford, he has recently overseen the creation of the new Quinnipiac Dawnland Museum on the museum grounds. His book will be available for purchase on the day of the event: $10 cash or venmo.
