Event Details
The North Haven Fire Department invites residents to attend a free public education class focused on the safe and effective use of fire extinguishers. This interactive program will cover the different types of fire extinguishers, when it is appropriate to use one, and how to properly operate an extinguisher using the PASS method. Taught by experienced firefighters, the class is designed to empower community members with practical skills that can help prevent small fires from becoming major emergencies, while emphasizing personal safety and the importance of calling 911.
