Event Details
This presentation is focused on providing insights to parents on Jeremy's experience growing up autistic, as well as strategies for success that can be used with autistic individuals as they develop. The goal is not to share the perspective of a parent but to provide context that is often left out of these conversations. Jeremy has worked with many families of autistic individuals and has learned ways to facilitate effective communication and bridge gaps in understanding.
Jeremy K. Farrell is a passionate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Advocate and a proud person on the spectrum himself. He has been working with children with developmental disabilities, specializing in autism, since the age of 15.
