Program Description

Event Details

The outreach team from the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles (CT DMV) will be onsite at the North Haven Memorial Library to perform limited paid services on a walk-in basis from 9 am - 1 pm.

Offered services:

  • Renew/Duplicate a driver’s license
  • Non-driver ID (New, Renewal, & Duplicate)
  • Accessibility Parking Permits (Doctor's signature required unless duplicate)
  • Renew vehicle registration
  • Fines, tickets & suspensions
  • REAL ID License Upgrades
  • Learner’s permit (Duplicates only)
  • Driver histories

Fees: These services are not free. All regular DMV fees are applicable. The DMV does not accept cash as it poses a potential safety risk for their staff.

Please note: All fees will be waived for a non-driver’s identification card issued to a resident of a homeless shelter or other facility for homeless persons or a certified homeless youth or certified homeless young adult. The fee waiver applies to new, duplicate and renewal. A director or other authorized official of the Homeless Shelter or other facility must sign and complete the appropriate section on the application for an identification card (Form B-230).
