Romance Book Club

For the month of December we will be reading and discussing A Tale of Two Wishes: A Dickens Holiday Romance by J M Davies. The author will be joining the book discussion via Zoom!

Christmas is looming, and rumors circulate that the reclusive owner of Dicken’s Chronicle is terminating the paper, leaving editor-in-chief Madeline St. Vincent reeling. Desperate to save the business from closure, she’s willing to do almost anything, even jokingly tossing a few coins in the local wishing well. 

Billionaire Ben Walker, son of the owner of Dicken’s Chronicle, wants to sell the newspaper because he believes it’s a source of stress for his old man. His ailing father demands Ben spend time at the newspaper before any final decision is made. Ben is left working alongside his ex, Madeline, which is not easy. When the full story emerges surrounding their split, will Ben have a change of heart concerning the fate of the Dicken’s Chronicle?
