Join us for a first person perspective of the struggles of African-Americans in the Colored Infantry during the Civil War. This live enactment is based on extensive research into Private William Webb, an actual soldier and native of Hartford.

Presented by Kevin Johnson of the CT State Library's History and Genealogy Unit. He has been presenting this program for more than 20 years.
