Welcome to Lit Lounge. This chill new book club is designed for adult readers of young adult (YA) literature. Each meeting we'll chat about a trendy YA genre/subgenre. Check out our "Recommended Read" or pick your own YA title from that month's genre.
This month we're reading a survival story! We recommend reading What the Woods Took by Courtney Gould. In this supernatural thriller, a group of teenagers are unwillingly plucked from their homes and sent into the woods for "wilderness therapy." When their counselors go missing, these teens must survive their individual traumas, the woods, and whatever is lurking in the shadows.
Open to adults 18+. Registration through the Library is required.
