Gabriella Brand, North Haven’s Poet Laureate, will share poems of gratitude. The public is invited to participate by reading or reciting a poem in honor of a friend, neighbor, public figure, or institution.
Please submit your proposal to read to Brittany Pearson at the Reference Library desk or by email to bpearson@northhavenlibrary.net.
For example: “I’d like to read A Time to Talk by Robert Frost in honor of my father who passed away last year”, or “I’d like to read Alone by Maya Angelou in gratitude for my neighbors."
Time constraints may impact the number of participants.
