Do you know someone who just makes life better here in North Haven? It could be people at your workplace, in your school, or on your street. It could be a thoughtful neighbor or a volunteer firefighter. Show them some love!
Write a short poem about this person and why you appreciate them. Then invite them to "receive" your poem at our Show the Love event! You may read the poem yourself or ask someone else to read it.
Please email a copy of the poem to poetlaureate@northhavenlibrary.net in advance with your name and the name of the person you wish to honor.
