Is there something that really makes your blood boil? Or maybe there’s something (or someone) you love so much that your heart might explode?
Whether you’re ready to unleash an unpopular opinion, or just want to gush about your dog, hop on our soapbox and speak it to the world! (Okay, maybe not to the world, but definitely to us at the library.)
Teens in grades 6-12 are encouraged to write a poem about something (anything) they want to share or rant about. We’ll take turns standing on a soapbox and reading our poetry.
This program is presented by North Haven’s first Youth Poet Laureate, Naomi Borenstein. Join Naomi, her friends, and the library crew as we laugh, snack, and share a variety of poems. No previous experience with poetry is needed!
Registration is encouraged, but not required.
