Event Details

Dennis Culliton, founding director of the Witness Stone Project, will share the work of this organization and how they collaborate with teachers and students to restore the history, honor and humanities of enslaved individuals who helped build our communities.

Dennis is a retired public-school teacher, former bureaucrat and a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran. The Witness Stone Project began in Guilford in 2017 and has already reached more than 11,000 middle and high schools students in 45 communities across 5 states.
