Debate Topic #2: Should single-use plastics be banned to protect the environment?
Join us for our second debate of the school year as we discuss the single use plastics (plastic utensils, straws, plastic packaging, etc). Are they killing our Earth? Should they be banned?
Over these next three weeks, we'll define our key terms and find research that supports each side. By our third meeting, we'll be ready to debate. Bring your thoughts and a friend!
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to participate. Registration encouraged.
