In this class, students will get to explore the physical benefits of Yin Yoga as well as how it can help us energetically, emotionally and mentally. Yin Yoga works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses. It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues - ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body.
Students must bring their own yoga mats.
Erin Sian Brea, former co-owner of an athletic center, realized the need for stretch therapy for her athletes/clients. In 2021 she received her Yin Yoga certification training from Jiiva Yoga Center in Stratford, CT.
